Mercedes C63 AMG by Wimmer
You might as well change those two ’Ms’ with two ’Ns’ because the guys of Wimmer RST are unquestioned winners in our minds. As one of those tuning companies that take painstaking lengths in refining their past products, the German tuning firm went back to their prior program for the Mercedes C63 AMG and gave the Merc’s 6.3-liter V8 engine more pop under its hood.
From their past project, which gave the car 580 horsepower from the standard 457 horsepower, Wimmer went back to the shops and re-tuned the engine, which now boasts of an output of 601 horsepower and 532 lb/ft of torque. That number translates to a power-to-weight ratio of 2.79kg/horsepower and a new top speed of 204 mph, up from the electronically limited 189 mph figure of the previous incarnation.
The engine upgrade was made possible by the addition of of new modifications, including a sports camshaft, re-tinkered cylinder heads, a new optimized air intake, custom manifold catalytic converters, a sports air filter, and a new stainless steel exhaust system. Controlling the added power is a set of BBS CH-R alloy wheels (8.5 or 9.5 x 19 inches), wrapped in Dunlop tires, 235/35-19 at the front and 265/35-19 at the rear.
According to Wimmer, all these modifications will cost the owner around ?19,900, which is about $28,156 based on current exchange rates. Add that to the price of the Mercedes C63 AMG and you’re looking at an $85,000 investment. Hey, that’s the price of cool and apparently the price of a weird yellow, white, and black paint job.

2011 P4/5 Competizione - Click above for high-res image gallery
James Glickenhaus's P4/5 Competizione made its debut at the Nürburgring this weekend ahead of the actual running of the Nürburgring 24 Hours. The test sessions reportedly went well and got as much hype and attention (yep, we're guilty as charged...) as anything Glickenhaus's now-famous racer does.
The P4/5 Competizione looked right at home on the track, though tests were cut short after a red flag limited driver Luca Cappellari to one lap. Mika Salo got plenty of seat time though, and the car looks just about ready for competition.
There aren't any concrete lap times yet, but best guesses are in the 8:30 range, which would put the P4/5 Competizione right where it needs to be. Click past the jump for videos from the test weekend, and be sure to check out the latest set of images of the exquisitely beautiful showpiece below.

Jaguar XK Spring Edition
Jaguar is celebrating the 50th anniversary of one of its most iconic models, the E-Type, this year. So to commemorate this occasion, the British automaker has released a new Spain-exclusive, limited-run Jaguar XK ?Spring Edition?, complete with a myriad of aesthetic upgrades on both the exterior and interior of the car.
While we completely dig all the styling improvements that were made for the Spring Edition XK, we’re a little bothered because the car is only being sold in Spain, which means that unless we can have one imported to the US, then we’re going to have trouble getting this unique Jaguar XK model.
Having said that, the Jaguar XK is still one fine piece of machinery, regardless if it comes with special trims or not. We admit to having once lost some affinity for the Big Car in the past, but with their slew of newer and more recent models, including the XK Coupe and Convertible, our approval rating for this British automaker is steadily rising back to its former stature as one of Europe’s finest.

Mazda has been trumpeting its "gram strategy" to cut weight on all of its products, and the best example of how this philosophy works is in the new MX-5 GT race car. The roadster, which will compete in the Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship this year, weighs just 1,874 pounds while packing nearly twice the punch of the standard MX-5.
The heavily modified MX-5 engine produces 275 horsepower - enough juice to propel the light-weight roadster to 60 miles per hour in a scant three seconds flat. The race-ready Mazda can also crest 160 mph while looking damn fine with its new Spirited Green paint job.
In order to cut several hundred pounds off the base MX-5, the Jota Sport racing team removed interior components, revised other interior fittings and dipped the car's shell in acid. The doors, like many interior components, are made of carbon fiber and the windows are made of polycarbonate. The racing team also lowered the engine height, adjusted the suspension and added a six-speed paddle shift transmission to aid with handling.

Ford wants you to get personal with the 2012 Fiesta. Be it through custom exterior graphics or LED lighting, Ford offers something to make your Fiesta truly your own. Now, if you opt for the SEL or SES trims, you can also choose from a pair of new two-tone interior color schemes. The 2012 Fiesta can be outfitted with Oxford White or Race Red, both of which are paired with black.
Besides the interior style touches, the 2012 Ford Fiesta is now being offered with a sport appearance package. It includes blacked-out side mirrors, grille-surround, upper rear-hatch spoiler and a set of 16-inch polished alloy wheels. This isn't just for looks, though. When equipped with a manual transmission, the standard 4.07 gear ratio gets swapped out for a 4.25 final drive ratio, meaning off-the-line acceleration should prove to be a bit more brisk.
